Our society is currently facing a number of food security challenges, some of which are threatening our future livelihood: climate change, population growth, declining natural resources, and increased demand for food, and social and economic amenities, to name but a few.

In my research, my mission is to study how insects and their by-products can connect livestock and crop production in the context of circular agriculture to improve livelihood, especially for smallholder-resource-poor communities in the developing countries, while ensuring sustainability of the environment. This is expressed in my motto: Responsible Production For Sustainable Livelihoods.
